2. Data we process

  • Browsing data: technical logs (e.g., IP address, user-agent, date/time, requested pages) required for operation, security and diagnostics.
  • Analytics data, only with consent: visited pages and navigation path, referrer/source (search, social, referral or direct), UTM parameters, language, device/browser/OS, screen size, active time, scroll progress, IP address, pseudonymous hash and network prefix. Calia Analytics is hosted internally on PHP/MySQL and does not use external analytics platforms.

  • Data you provide: data entered in the contact form or sent by email (name, email, phone, message content, possible attachments if applicable).

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Website security: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Calia Analytics/statistics: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); tracking starts only after the user gives a positive choice.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by providers acting as processors (e.g., hosting, email services, IT maintenance) or as independent controllers (e.g., providers of requested services). We do not sell personal data.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Data is typically processed within the EU/EEA. If transfers outside the EU become necessary, we will adopt appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by applicable law.

6. Retention

  • Enquiries via form/email: up to 24 months (or longer if needed for contractual relationships or legal obligations).
  • Administrative/tax documentation (if applicable): as required by law (e.g., 10 years).
  • Technical logs: for the time strictly necessary for security and diagnostics.
  • Calia Analytics: the full IP address is retained for a maximum of 30 days and then automatically removed; statistical and pseudonymised data may be retained longer for historical analysis.

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal). You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
